This time, we decided to go on a cruise with Symphony of the Seas in the Two-Bedroom Grand Suite, and I’d love to take you along and show you exactly what makes this suite so fantastic — and all the extras that come with it. We took this cruise as a family of four, including two teenagers — so the extra space was definitely welcome!
One of the biggest advantages of Royal Caribbean’s larger ships is the endless range of activities — especially for families.
As parents, you get to enjoy all the luxury of Suite Class, while the kids have tons of fun options to choose from — often with priority access thanks to your suite privileges.
I’ve been on quite a few cruises, but I’ve never seen a stateroom this spacious (85 inches) with two full bathrooms and two separate bedrooms.
The second bedroom had four beds: two twin beds below and two Pullman beds above. There was also a very large living room with a seating area and a kitchenette with a mini bar. This suite can accommodate up to 8 people.
The balcony (34 inches) stretched across the entire width of the suite, making it incredibly spacious as well.

An overview of all the benefits:
1. Suite Concierge Service
A personal concierge to assist with all your reservations (shows, restaurants, spa, excursions).
Help with embarkation, disembarkation, luggage, and special requests.
Available by phone and often via WhatsApp while on board.
Sky & Suite Class lounge
2. Priority Access & Entry
Expedited boarding: faster embarkation and disembarkation.
Reserved seating at shows: access to Sky Class sections at entertainment venues.
Priority dining: preferred reservations for specialty restaurants and exclusive dining experiences.
Dedicated lines at popular attractions: including FlowRider, Zip Line, and iFly.
3. Suite Lounge & Snacks
From 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM: unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, and water in the Suite Lounge, Coastal Kitchen, and sun deck — free for Sky and Star Class guests.
Access to the Suite Lounge (exclusive to Sky and Star Class):
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, snacks, wine, beer, and soft drinks during happy hour from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Quiet atmosphere with beautiful views and private seating areas.
A relaxing space without crowds and without needing a drink package.
4. Access to Coastal Kitchen
Exclusive restaurant reserved for suite guests.
Premium breakfast, lunch, and dinner — much quieter than Windjammer or Main Dining Room.
Personalized service and higher-quality dishes compared to standard restaurants.
5. Suite Sun Deck
A quiet, exclusive sun deck area on a peaceful part of the ship.
Lounge chairs with thick cushions, umbrellas, and towel service.
Complimentary bar service with drinks and snacks available.
Often offers ocean views and is much calmer than the public decks.

6. Unlimited VOOM Internet
Fast Wi-Fi for all suite guests (1 device per person in the suite).
VOOM is one of the fastest internet connections at sea.
7. Welcome Gifts
A bottle of water or wine upon arrival.
Fresh flowers or sweet treats in the suite, depending on the itinerary and ship.
8. Family-Friendly
Flexible My Time Dining options.
Kids’ activities can be reserved in advance through the concierge.
All these extras come included when booking this spacious suite. On Royal Caribbean’s large ships, there are many options and a wide variety of stateroom types including family suites and even two-level suites.
