I was impressed when sailing on the Prima about the new dining concept onboard this ship. I have never seen it before on any other cruise line yet. The Indulge Food Hall located on deck 8 on the back of the ship. I would like to inform you about this concept and share my personal experience. The reason why they made this on a lower lever is because people feel more connected with the sea.
Indulge Food Hall is integrated into Ocean Boulevard, a promenade designed to connect outdoor dining, lounges, infinity pools and breathless views of the sea. NCL wanted to create:
A resort-style indoor-outdoor lifestyle area
With alfresco seating right by the sea
For daytime grazing and relaxed meals – more like a modern city food market than a cruise buffet.

What is it?
The NCL Prima Class has the Indulge Food Hall on Deck 8 of the Norwegian Prima is a modern, casual dining space featuring 11 different food stations. You can enjoy a wide variety of international dishes from Asian, Indian, BBQ, tapas, salads, ice cream, desserts and they even have a Starbucks. You order via a tablet at your table and the food is freshly prepared and brought to you. No need to collect yourself, it is all served at your table, while can sit and relax, enjoy the nice views. We always had our lunch there or a late afternoon snack.

What to Expect?
Global flavors from all over the world come together in this Indulge Food Hall — there’s something for everyone, and no need to agree on one type of cuisine. Everyone can simply order what they like. The small plates are perfect for sharing or sampling a variety of dishes from different regions. You can sit indoors or outdoors, but if possible, we recommend grabbing a spot outside — the views are amazing since the venue is located at the aft (back) of the ship.
It’s not a buffet: you order digitally from your table, and everything is brought to you by the staff. With extended opening hours, it’s open for lunch, dinner, and snacks in between — no reservations needed.

Some practical Tips?
Avoid peak hours for easier seating
You can order from multiple stations at once
Portions are small, so it’s great for trying multiple dishes
Outdoor seating is wonderful in good weather, but popular
Included in your cruise fare (except specialty drinks and Starbucks)
Pros
Lots of variety: from Indian curry to BBQ ribs, from tapas to vegan salads.
Flexible dining times: ideal for lunch, dinner or a late snack and no reservation needed.
Pleasant atmosphere: modern layout with both indoor and outdoor seating, right on Ocean Boulevard.
Cons
Limited seating: especially during peak hours, it can be hard to find a table. Walking around until one becomes available can help.
Compact space: The area is smaller than buffet venues on other NCL ships, so it can feel crowded.
Nearby
The Local Bar & Grill: right next to the Food Hall, offering 24/7 pub-style comfort food, live music, and cocktails.
Luna and Soleil Bars: Indoor and outdoor bars with draft drinks and cocktails to pair with your meal.
Whiskey Bar (also on Deck 8): Perfect for those who enjoy whisky and crafted cocktails.
